Moving forward is an aggressive drive, a substitute for will and power. There is something sad about our need for a centered heroic figure to narrate our experiences. This text is about decentering, reframing through breakdowns and corrosions, feeling the weight of the edges of things. Bumping, falling, moving nowhere, moving backwards. “My business is circumference.” This text itself is weighed down, bounded by all kinds of forces. You think you’re going somewhere but you keep returning back until the pages themselves start to rupture.
